Hello, I’m Gian (pronouns: he/him) and this is my personal blog for video games and other interests. One of my favorite parts of any type of media is exploring its lore, hence the “Lore” in “Lore Gian.” I’m a big fan of MMORPGs, life sims, virtual pets, and spending obscene amounts of time on character customization.
Growing up, I played games like World of Warcraft, The Sims, Maplestory, Guild Wars 2, Animal Crossing, Neopets, and Pokemon because I liked the world and character designs in those games. If a game has solid gameplay, character customization, and lore, I’m there! I’ll be using this blog as a sort of journal to document my thoughts and pictures from various games and other media.
In real life, I’m a business information systems student still trying to figure out what to do with my life, so I made this website as a fun way to reconnect with some of my interests. Although this blog is mainly for video games, I appreciate all forms of lore whether it’s games, movies, TV, music, books, or anything else from fictional lore to real life lore. I love seeing all the different ways people are creative.
Outside of gaming, I enjoy those other forms of media as well as swimming, hiking, volunteering, drawing, photography, and visiting museums. I am also personally passionate about mental health, social issues, and education, so I try to look at lore through those lenses.
