After regaining access to my old Neopets account, I had an itch for playing more virtual pet sites. Tattered World was one that I found in 2018 but only started playing again recently. Lore Tattered World has an interesting backstory where the Unmaker tore apart the fabric of reality, making the world “tattered” and leaving behind Threads. Threads are the “formless debris of the destroyed world”. Little creatures called Kith then started appearing from the Threads.

Continuing on my nostalgia journey, I just logged into my old side account on Graal for the first time in about 6-7 years. I played it a lot during 2013-2016. I lost my main account though since it was attached to an old email I deleted a while ago. Luckily, I was able to get back into my side account. During Chirstmas, I was gifted the MySims Cozy Bundle for the Nintendo Switch (thanks to my family), and boy, was it a trip down memory lane. Since I am predictable, I spent a long time on character customization before settling on the Sim below: I chose him out of the other 9 sims I made. It was a hard choice, but I’ve been digging the “depressed office worker” aesthetic lately.

Starting up Maplestory as an Illium I started Maplestory again and created an Illium. The starting area has a fun theme where your Illium is a little magical engineering nerd that gets taken in by their mentor, Agate. The setting was like a magic school, which reminded me of Harry Potter. Especially when one of the teachers Darius ended up betraying the school and attacking Agate! Rest in peace, Agate. You would’ve loved Dumbledore.
